Abstract:
Disclosed is an optical fiber sensor based on a polymer echo wall mode resonant cavity. An optical fiber comprises a fiber core and a cladding layer, wherein the optical fiber has a groove; the height of the bottom portion of the groove is less than that of the fiber core; the groove divides the fiber core into a first fiber core and a second fiber core; a waveguide of a polymer structure and an echo wall resonant cavity of the polymer structure are provided in the groove; and two ends of the waveguide are respectively connected to the first fiber core and the second fiber core. Further disclosed is a preparation method for the optical fiber sensor based on a polymer echo wall mode resonant cavity. The present invention firstly provides using laser aggregation technology to integrate an echo wall resonant cavity inside an optical fiber. Compared with the prior art, the most significant advantage of the present invention is a higher integration degree, which can ensure the integration of a resonator, and has a compact structure; and the machining duration is shortened, the structure size is reduced, the stability of a device is improved, and the structure design is more flexible, thereby providing a significant guarantee for meeting the requirements of different environments.
