Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of physical connections of optical fibre communications and provides an optical fibre adapter. The optical fibre adapter comprises: an adapter body, being of a structure with two ends open and a hollow interior, the adapter body being provided with an external thread at a middle portion and being provided internally with an internal thread; an adapter cover, being arranged at one end of the adapter body, with one end face thereof being provided with a notch in a square shape; an adapter inner core, being fixed, in a clamping manner, to the adapter cover by means of the notch and being used for being fixed to a connection head of an optical fibre connector in an inserted manner; and a buffer mechanism, being arranged at two sides of the adapter inner core and being used to buffer an impact effect generated when the optical fibre connector and the optical fibre adapter are connected in an inserted manner. When the optical fibre connector and the optical fibre adapter are fixed in an inserted manner, by means of the buffer effect of the buffer mechanism, the impact effect of the optical fibre connector on the adapter inner core is lowered, so as to protect the adapter inner core.
