Abstract:
An optical film according to the present invention comprises a transparent base material and a colored layer that is superposed on at least one surface side of the transparent base material; the colored layer has a maximum absorption wavelength within the range of 480 nm to 500 nm; the colored layer contains a dye (A); the dye (A) contains a colorant which contains a dipyrromethene cobalt complex that has a specific structure; and the measured value of the maximum absorption wavelength of the dipyrromethene cobalt complex in an acetone solution at a concentration of 5.0 × 10-6 M and the calculated value thereof as calculated using quantum chemical calculation program Gaussian 16 satisfy a specific relationship.
