Abstract:
This optical film comprises a first resin layer formed of a first thermoplastic resin that contains a norbornene polymer and a light absorber, wherein: the norbornene polymer is selected from the group consisting of a polymer of a norbornene monomer composition and a hydride thereof; the norbornene monomer composition contains a specific monomer; the weight average molecular weight of the norbornene polymer is in a specific range; and the amount of the light absorber in the first thermoplastic resin is in a specific range.
