Abstract:
An optical filter according to one embodiment of this disclosure comprises a filter array including a plurality of filters arranged two-dimensionally, and a band-pass filter. The plurality of filters include a first filter and second filter. The transmission spectrums of the first filter and second filter have local transmittance maximums at three or more wavelengths included in a first wavelength band. The bandpass filter transmits light of a second wavelength band that includes two or more wavelengths from among the three or more wavelengths and excludes one or more wavelengths from among the three or more wavelengths. The filter array and bandpass filter are disposed such that (a) the bandpass filter is positioned on the optical path of transmitted light that has passed through the first filter and second filter or (b) the first filter and second filter are positioned on the optical path of transmitted light that has passed through the bandpass filter.
