Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical filter in which a functional film is formed to the ends of a substrate without impairing the quality of the substrate or the functional film, and an optical product. This optical filter comprises: a substrate having a first surface and a second surface that is the reverse side from the first surface in the thickness direction; a first optical film formed on the first surface; and a second optical film formed on the second surface. The first surface has an exposed section on which the first optical film is not formed, and the second optical film is at least formed on a location on the second surface corresponding to the exposed section in planar view in the thickness direction.
