Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of optical communications, and in particular, to an optical interconnection method and system based on optical cells. The method mainly comprises: intra-domain FDM convergence units in each optical cellular unit encapsulate intra-domain data services into service particles according to the size of intra-domain reference service particles, and modulate the service particles to one or more intra-domain reference radio frequency bandwidths and reference carrier channels in an electric domain and an optical domain; intra-domain optical cross units perform selection and cross scheduling on optical channels in optical input and output ports of the connected intra-domain FDM convergence units, an inter-domain electric conversion unit and the interconnected intra-domain optical cross units according to intra-domain spectrum channel planning and the size of the reference carrier channels; and the inter-domain electric conversion unit performs re-encapsulation and/or communication specification conversion on the service particles scheduled by the intra-domain optical cross units, and then sends the service particles to an adjacent optical cellular unit bridge-connected by means of the inter-domain electric conversion unit. According to the present invention, the flexibility and utilization efficiency of intra-domain network resource configuration can be optimized according to service characteristics in an optical cellular unit domain.
