Abstract:
Provided is an optical laminate for the front surface of an in-cell touch panel liquid crystal element that makes it possible to achieve a thin shape while maintaining essential function and that is capable of preventing clouding in a liquid crystal screen. The optical laminate comprises a phase difference plate, a polarizing film, and a transparent substrate in this order and additionally comprises a conductive layer. The transparent substrate has optical anisotropy that disrupts linear polarized light emitted from the polarizing film. The phase difference plate, the polarizing film, and the transparent substrate are laminated either with no other layers therebetween or with only the conductive layer therebetween, and the thickness of the optical laminate is 32-300 µm.
