Abstract:
The present invention relates to a variable transmittance optical laminate and a smart window comprising same, the variable transmittance optical laminate comprising: a first polarizing plate; a first transparent conductive layer formed on one surface of the first polarizing plate; a second polarizing plate facing the first polarizing plate; a second transparent conductive layer which is formed on one surface of the second polarizing plate and faces the first transparent conductive layer; and a light control laminate which is provided between the first transparent conductive layer and the second transparent conductive layer and includes a liquid crystal layer, wherein at least one of a surface protection film or a hard coating layer is provided on one or both sides of the light control laminate, at least one of the first transparent conductive layer or the second transparent conductive layer is formed in direct contact with one of the first polarizing plate or the second polarizing plate, the surface protection film has a peeling force of 1.0 N/25mm to 2.4 N/25mm, and the hard coating layer has a surface pencil hardness of HB to 6H.
