Abstract:
This optical line terminal (10) is provided with: a first request unit (121a) for requesting that an other-party communication device alternately perform a power conservation operation at preset times at both communication start and stop; a phase specification unit (121b) for specifying a first phase of the power conservation operation being performed by the other-party communication device on the basis of communication with the other-party communication device, and a second phase corresponding to the first phase of its own power conservation operation; a time difference calculation unit (121c) for calculating the difference between the first phase and the second phase; and a second request unit (121d) for requesting that the other-party communication device perform the power conservation operation once again on the basis of the calculated difference.
