Abstract:
Provided are: an optical member which has more excellent transparency and heat resistance in comparison to molded bodies that are formed of conventional ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymers and which has good light resistance; a method for producing the optical member; and an article which is provided with the optical member.
An optical member which is formed of a molded body that contains a crosslinked product of an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer which has a unit (A) that is based on tetrafluoroethylene, a unit (B) that is based on ethylene, and a unit (C) that is based on CH2=CHCnF2n+1 (wherein n represents an integer of 2-10). The molar ratio of the unit (A) to the unit (B) ((A)/(B)) is from 50/50 to 66/34, and the molar ratio of the unit (C) to the total of the unit (A) and the unit (B) ((C)/{(A) + (B)}) is from 4.0/100 to 10/100.
