Abstract:
Provided are an optical microscope instrument, an optical microscope system, and a testing and/or diagnosis method which, in a pollen test, water quality test, blood test and/or blood diagnosis, urine test and/or urine diagnosis, and pathology test and/or pathology diagnosis for cancer and the like that use an optical microscope, make it possible to observe a preparation (specimen) without overlooking a sample or test substance of said preparation and without redundancy of said sample or test substance, and which not only greatly increases test speed and/or diagnosis speed and test accuracy and/or diagnosis accuracy, but also decreases the work and time required of a test administrator, specialist technologist, or specialist diagnostician, etc. to perform the test and/or diagnosis. In an optical microscope system according to an aspect of the present disclosure, a means having, for optical microscope observation, both a field of view regulating function, which distinguishes between a region where a preparation is to be observed and a region where observation is to be skipped, and a field of view guidance function, which successively guides the preparation in the direction for observation, is formed using both an optical microscope instrument, in which is formed a means having the field of view regulating function and the field of view guidance function, and an optical microscope comprising a lighting control device. A stage control device and the lighting control device carry out the field of view regulating function and the field of view guidance function, on the basis of a signal sent from the preparation provided with a means for controlling the field of view regulating function and the field of view guidance function in optical microscope observation.
