Abstract:

The present application is related to the technical field of optical communication, and discloses an optical module, a communication device, and a PoE device. The optical module comprises a housing, an optical component, and a power supply component. A first end of the housing has a first socket, and a second end of the housing has a second socket. The optical component comprises a first optical plug, a photoelectric conversion component, and a second optical plug, which are all connected sequentially. The power supply component comprises a first electrical plug, a power supply circuit, and a second electrical plug, which are all connected sequentially. The photoelectric conversion component and the power supply circuit are both inside of the housing. The first optical plug is inside of the first socket, the first electrical plug is at the first socket, and the second optical plug and the second electrical plug are both inside of the second socket. Using the present application, a composite cable power supply connector is electrically connected to the communication device by means of the optical module. The composite cable power supply connector does not need to be inserted into the communication device, thereby conserving the panel space of the communication device, and facilitating the miniaturization trend of communication devices.
