Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of difficulty in achieving, in an elastic optical network, both an increase in frequency utilization efficiency and an increase in the probability that an optical path is established. An optical path control device according to the invention comprises: a route selection means that searches for route candidates as candidates of a route accommodating an optical path, and selects a best route that minimizes a route selection index which is a route search index; a use rate compilation means that complies use rates that are indexes representative of use status of optical frequency bands in optical fiber transmission channels included in the route candidates; and a route selection index determination means that determines the route selection index on the basis of the use rates.
