Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an optical power supply converter that allows light input from a plurality of optical fiber cables to enter a semiconductor light-receiving element without increasing the light intensity. [Solution] An optical power supply converter (1) that generates photocurrent from a plurality of incident lights (L1) and supplies power comprises: a plurality of reflecting mirrors (6) that reflects the incident lights (L1); and a semiconductor light-receiving element (10) having a light-receiving region (12) that generates photocurrent, wherein in each of the reflecting mirrors (6), the reflecting surface facing the light-receiving region (12) is an oblique elliptic conical surface (6c) having an apex shifted in the direction of the short axis with respect to the intersection of the long and short axes of an elliptical bottom surface (6d), the plurality of reflecting mirrors (6) are arranged at intervals with inclined orientation such that the apexes are located on the central axis (12a) of the light-receiving region (12), the long axis of the bottom surface (6d) is parallel to the light-receiving region (12), the side to which the apex is shifted due to the short axis obliquely intersecting the central axis (12a) becomes the incident side of the incident light (L1), the plurality of multiple incident lights (L1) are input to the corresponding reflecting mirrors (6) so that the optical axis (OA) passes through the apex perpendicularly to the central axis (12a), and a plurality of ring-shaped reflected lights (L2) are caused to be incident on the light-receiving area (12) without intersecting each other.
