Abstract:
This optical reception circuit is provided with a first light receiver, first transimpedance amplifier, level shift circuit, second light receiver, second transimpedance amplifier, peak hold circuit, and comparator. The first transimpedance amplifier converts a first optical current into a first voltage, said first optical current having been transmitted from the first light receiver. The level shift circuit generates a signal voltage on the basis of the first voltage. The second transimpedance amplifier converts a second optical current into a second voltage, said second optical current having been transmitted from the second light receiver. The peak hold circuit holds a peak voltage of the second voltage as a first threshold voltage. The comparator compares the signal voltage and the first threshold voltage with each other.
