Abstract:
The present invention provides an optical scanning device 100 capable of maintaining a fixed spatial resolution even when the scanning range is variable. The optical scanning device 100 comprises: a light source 101 for emitting light; a scanning mirror 106 for reflecting light entering from the light source on the reflection surface thereof, the scanning mirror 106 being capable of creating mutually independent oscillations about a first axis passing through the reflection surface and a second axis perpendicular to the first axis and passing through the reflection surface; and a control unit 103 for scanning the light reflected by the reflection surface of the scanning mirror 106 by controlling a first frequency and a first amplitude of the oscillation about the first axis of the scanning mirror 106 and a second frequency and a second amplitude of the oscillation about the second axis. The control unit 103 controls the second frequency on the basis of the maximum scanning angle along a sub-scanning direction.
