Abstract:
A TOF sensor (100) is provided with: a light emitting element (6) that emits light in accordance with a reference pulse; a first light reception part (1) that outputs a pulse in response to incidence of light; a first digital calculation unit (14) that calculates the number of third outputted pulses from the first light reception part (1) in response to incidence of reflected light (L2); and a distance calculation unit (33) that calculates the distance from the host device to an object when the number of the third outputted pulses is larger than a first reference value.
