Abstract:
An optical sheet laminate 100 incorporated in a backlight unit 40 comprises: a plurality of diffusion sheets 43 on a first surface 21a of each of which a plurality of recesses 22 each having an approximately inverted quadrangular pyramid shape are arranged in a two-dimensional matrix; and a pair of prism sheets 44 and 45 the prism extension directions of which are orthogonal to each other. The arrangement directions of the recesses 22 in a diffusion sheet 43 closest to the prism sheets 44 and 45 among the plurality of diffusion sheets 43 cross the prism extension directions at an angle of 0° to 20° or 70° to 90°.
