Abstract:
An optical submodule and an optical module. The optical submodule includes: an optical transmitter (1), an optical receiver (2), a beam splitter (4), an optical fiber ferrule (5). Light from the optical transmitter (1) passes through the beam splitter (4) into the optical fiber ferrule (5); light from the optical fiber ferrule (5) enters the optical receiver (2) after being reflected by the beam splitter (4). An incident light axis of the optical receiver (2) and an incident light axis of the optical fiber ferrule (5) form an acute angle. An emergent light axis of the optical transmitter (1) and an incident light axis of the optical fiber ferrule (5) form an acute angle.
