Abstract:
An optical switching device, a redirection method, and a reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer, which are applied to the field of optical fiber communication, and are used to increase the filtering bandwidth and effectively reduce insertion loss. The optical switching device comprises input ports (410, 420), a dispersion assembly (506), a first lens assembly (507), a redirection assembly (508), and output ports (411, 412, 421, 422). The input ports (410, 420) are used to make a first light beam (501) incident into the dispersion assembly (506) at a first incident angle (θC) along a first direction (X), and the input ports (410, 420) are also used to make a second light beam (502) incident into the dispersion assembly (506) at a second incident angle (θL) along the first direction (X), wherein the difference between absolute values of the first incident angle (θC) and the second incident angle (θL) is not zero. The difference between the absolute values of the first incident angle (θC) and the second incident angle (θL) enables a first region (801) in which spots of the first light beam (501) are arranged and a second region (802) in which spots of the second light beam (502) are arranged to be separate from each other along the first direction (X), and enables the first region (801) and the second region (802) to at least partially overlap along a second direction (Y).
