Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain an optical transport transmitting apparatus capable of reducing low-frequency jitter. An optical transport transmitting apparatus (1) for encapsulating a client signal into a line signal is provided with an optical channel payload unit(OPU)n mapper (13) for receiving and mapping the client signal, and a map controller (12) for controlling the mapping in the OPUn mapper (13) by determining the number of client data items to be mapped into a payload portion and by determining when the client data items and information on the number of the client data items are inserted into the payload portion.
