Abstract:
This optical wireless communication system has: an optical wireless communication device that is moved together with a first optical wireless station; and a second optical wireless station that opposes the first optical wireless station. The optical wireless communication device is provided with at least one reference light transmission unit that transmits reference light to the second optical wireless station when a position forward in a movement direction of the first optical wireless station is defined as a transmission position. The second optical wireless station is provided with: a reference light reception unit that receives the reference light transmitted from the reference light transmission unit; an inference unit that infers influence of atmosphere on transfer of signal light on the basis of the reception state of the reference light received by the reference light reception unit; a compensation unit that performs a compensation process on the signal light on the basis of the influence of atmosphere inferred by the inference unit; and a signal light transmission unit that transmits the signal light on which the compensation process has been performed by the compensation unit, in an arrival direction of the reference light.
