Abstract:
A process of optimizing parameters of various structures is performed without manually redesigning the processing content of coding and decoding. The following steps are executed: an evaluation step of obtaining an evaluation value representing an evaluation result of a signal process that uses a first signal processing parameter value, which is a parameter for signal processing; a coding step of converting the first signal processing parameter value to a first external parameter value, which is an external parameter, at least on the basis of a definition file defining an attribute of the parameter for signal processing; a generation step of generating a second external parameter value, which is the external parameter having a different value from the first external parameter value, on the basis of the evaluation value and the first external parameter value; and a decoding step of converting the second external parameter value to a second signal processing parameter value, which is the parameter for signal processing, on the basis of the definition file.
