Abstract:
An order merging system (10) includes two first case guides (56, 58) with a pair of twisted lanes. The case guides (56, 58) are downwardly sloped and guide a product case (40) along in each case guide (56, 58). Two raisable guides (84) are connected downstream of the case guides (56, 58) and are in communication with them. Two other case guides (70, 72) are in communication with the raisable guides (84), which are lowered to allow the product cases (40) from the first case guides (56, 58) to merge onto the other case guides (70, 72).
