| Claims 1. In this invention we divide the cloud configuration into three parts :- configuration for Storage Nodes, configuration for Compute Nodes and configuration for Nodes providing Switching capability. 2. Here we first start bringing up the Storage Nodes and configure them first, then the Compute Nodes and finally the Nodes providing Switching capability. After booting up Storage Nodes or Compute Nodes or Nodes providing Switching capability, corresponding to each of the Node in the cloud there will be list of activities or commands to carried out for achieving its configuration. List of activities may consist of application binaries to be executed with command-line arguments, any process or thread to be spawned to execute a set of tasks in predefined order, etc. 3. List of activities are carried out in parallel for all the particular type of nodes(Storage Nodes or Compute Nodes or Nodes providing Switching capability) after they have booted up to achieve their respective configurations in parallel. |
