Abstract:
It is intended to provide an organ or tissue fibrosis inhibitor and preventives/remedies for diseases caused by skin fibrosis (scleoderma, cheloid, thickened scar, etc.) and diseases caused by organ fibrosis (hepatic cirrhosis, lung fibrosis, etc.) each containing, as the active ingredient, a compound inhibiting the signal transduction pathway of promoting the expression of collagen gene mediated by integrin &agr νβ5. This object can be established by providing an organ or tissue fibrosis inhibitor which contains as the active ingredient compound inhibiting the signal transduction pathway of promoting the expression of collagen gene mediated by integrin &agr νβ5.
