Abstract:
The present invention relates to an organic compound used in an organic layer, such as an electron-blocking layer, a hole-transporting layer, etc., in an organic light-emitting device, and an organic light-emitting device having significantly improved device characteristics in terms of low voltage driving, long lifespan, luminescence efficiency, etc., by including the organic compound. The organic compound according to the present invention has excellent performance in injection and transportation of holes, has high capability of trapping triplet excitons, and has excellent stability in a thin-film state while having excellent electron-blocking performance. Thus, the organic light-emitting device including the organic compound in an organic layer, such as an electron-blocking layer, a hole-blocking layer, etc., may have significantly excellent device characteristics in terms of low voltage driving, long lifespan, luminescence efficiency, etc., compared to conventional devices in the art, and thus can be used in various lightening devices and display devices.
