Abstract:
The present invention provides an organic EL device which has a light emitting region wherein unevenness of emission luminance is reduced. An organic EL device having a light emitting region, said organic EL device comprising: a substrate; a bank that is arranged on the substrate so as to surround the light emitting region, while having a thickness and a width; and an organic layer structure part. With respect to this organic EL device, the organic layer structure part has a portion (A) that is arranged within the light emitting region and a portion (B) that is arranged on the bank, while having a length LB in the width direction of the bank; and if TAS is the maximum film thickness of the portion (A) and TAC is the central film thickness of the portion (A), the organic layer structure part has a portion that satisfies formula TAS/TAC ≤ 1.1.
