Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an organic electroluminescence element that emits dot light by a simpler pixel formation method and providing a production method thereof. This organic electroluminescence element is characterized in that a light emitting layer is formed of a semiconductor material having at least mesopores, and a light emitting material. The organic electroluminescence element is characterized in that the light emitting material is contained within the mesopores, and the semiconductor material having the mesopores functions as a host compound.
