Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/183625
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an organic electroluminescence element comprising, in order to improve the element characteristics of the organic EL element, in particular, so as to absorb 400-410 nm wavelength sunlight and not have effects on an inner material of the element, and to widely improve light extraction efficiency, a capping layer constituted from a material having a high absorption coefficient, a high index of refraction, excellent thin film stability, durability and light resistance, and not having absorption in the blue, green and red wavelength regions. [Solution] An organic electroluminescence element having, in this order, at least an anode electrode, a hole transport layer, a light emitting layer, an electron transport layer, a cathode electrode and a capping layer, wherein the extinction coefficient of the capping layer material is 0.3 or greater at wavelengths from 400-410 nm and the organic electroluminescence element includes a material having an absorbency of 0.2 or greater at wavelengths from 400-410 nm in an absorption spectrum having a concentration of 10-5 mol/l.
