Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/140896
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] In order to absorb sunlight having a wavelength of 400-410 nm and improve light extraction efficiency without affecting the materials in the interior of an element, the present invention provides an organic electroluminescence element equipped with a capping layer formed from a material that has a high light absorption coefficient at wavelengths of 400-410 nm, a high refractive index, suitable thin film stability, and excellent durability and light resistance and that does not absorb light in any of the red, green, and yellow wavelength ranges. [Solution] An arylamine-based material having a specific structure in the present invention has excellent thin film stability and durability, so a material having high absorbance at wavelengths of 400-410 nm in the absorption spectrum for a concentration of 10-5 mol/L of an amine compound having a specific benzazole ring structure and a high refractive index is selected and used as a material for forming a capping layer in an organic electroluminescence element in order to obtain an organic electroluminescence element exhibiting suitable element characteristics.
