Abstract:
Provided are an organic electroluminescent device, and a display apparatus and a lighting apparatus which include the organic electroluminescent device, wherein the organic electroluminescent device has a structure in which a plurality of light emitting units each having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an organic compound-containing light emitting layer between the positive electrode and the negative electrode are laminated with charge generation layers interposed therebetween, and at least one of the light emitting units has at least one lanthanoid metal-containing electron injection layer at a position closer to the negative electrode than the light emitting layer contained in the light emitting unit. The organic electroluminescent device has a multi-photon emission structure that enables low voltage driving having excellent device stability.
