Abstract:

Disclosed is an organic electroluminescent device, comprising a substrate, and light-emitting devices formed in sequence on the substrate. The light-emitting device consists of a first electrode layer (1), a light-emitting layer (2) and a second electrode layer (3). The light-emitting layer comprises a host material and a dye. The host material is made of materials having a hole transport capability. At least one material in the host material has a triplet-CT-excited-state energy level T1 greater than a triplet-n-π-excited-state energy level S1, and T1 - S1 ≤ 0.3 eV; Alternatively, at least one material in the host material has a triplet-CT-excited-state energy level T1 greater than a triplet-n-π-excited-state energy level S1, where T1 - S1 ≥ 1 eV, and the difference between a second triplet-n-π-excited-state energy level and a first singlet-CT-excited-state energy level of the host material is from -0.1 to 0.1 eV. The organic electroluminescent device structure can sufficiently utilize the triplet state energy in the host material and the dye to increase the luminous efficiency while extending the service life of the device.
