Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent element (1) having a light emitting layer (5) between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, wherein a first layer (71) is included between the negative electrode and the light emitting layer (5), the thickness of the first layer (71) is 50 nm or more, the first layer (71) contains a compound represented by general formula (1), and, in general formula (100), A represents a substituted or unsubstituted fused aryl group having 13-50 ring-forming carbon atoms or represents a substituted or unsubstituted fused heterocycle group having 14-50 ring-forming atoms, but the first layer (71) does not contain a metal doping material.
