Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent element 1 which comprises a first light emitting layer 51 that contains a first host material, a first organic material and a first dopant material, and a second light emitting layer 52 that contains a second host material and a second dopant material, wherein the first host material, the first organic material and the second host material are compounds that have structures different from each other, while satisfying mathematical formulae (1) and (2). (1): T1(H1) > T1(H3)
(2): T1(H2) > T1(H3)
(In mathematical formulae (1) and (2), T1(H1), T1(H2) and T1(H3) respectively represent the triplet energies of the first host material, the first organic material and the second host material.)
