Abstract:
Disclosed is an organic photoelectric conversion element which comprises a pair of electrodes and an organic layer arranged between the electrodes, wherein the organic layer comprises a compound having a fused ring composed of 4 to 10 benzene rings fused together, preferably a compound having a pyrene ring or a compound having a perylene ring, and a conjugated polymeric compound. The organic photoelectric conversion element can apply a high open circuit voltage and is therefore useful.
