Abstract:
Disclosed is an organic power generating device which generates electricity upon reception of light. This organic power generating device comprises a positive electrode (2) and a negative electrode (3) at least one of which is transparent; a power generating layer (1) which is formed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode by mixing an electron donor material and a hole donor material, and generates electricity upon reception of light; and a layer (4) of inorganic matter which is formed between the power generating layer and the positive electrode and has a work function larger than that of the positive electrode. Consequently, the charge extraction efficiency from the power generating layer can be increased, thereby obtaining an organic power generating device having high efficiency and long life.
