Abstract:
An organism observing system entailing a low cost of narrow-band observation compared
to conventional systems. An organism imaging device comprises a plurality of
imaging means for imaging an organism tissue illuminated by white light and outputting
the image as an imaging signal, a first dispersing means for transmitting the
light in a first wavelength band, dispersing the image taken by first imaging means
of the plurality of imaging means, and enabling the image to be displayed on a display
means as a first image, and a second dispersing means for transmitting the light
in a second wavelength band different from the first wavelength band, dispersing
the image taken by second imaging means of the plurality of imaging means, and
enabling the image to be displayed on the display means as a second image in which
a predetermined portion of the organism tissue is emphasized compared to the
first image.
