Abstract:
Provided is a water-soluble organopolysiloxane which is represented by formula (1) and exhibits excellent storage stability. (In the formula, R1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms, R2 moieties are each independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms which may be substituted with a glycidyloxy group, R3 is a methyl group or an ethyl group, a, b, c and d are numbers that satisfy the relationships a ≥ 0.5, b ≥ 0, c > 0, d ≥ 0, and a+b+c+d=1, and x and y are numbers that satisfy the relationships x ≥ 1 and y ≤ 0.5.)
