Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an organosiloxane, the method being capable of efficiently producing an organosiloxane having an alkoxysilyl group or a triorganosiloxy group. The organosiloxane having the alkoxysilyl group or the triorganosiloxy group can be efficiently produced by reacting a silanol having a structure represented by formula (a) and a hydrosilane having a structure represented by formula (b) in the presence of a copper complex (in formula (b) and formula (c), R represents a hydrocarbon group which has 1-20 carbon atoms and may include a hetero atom, or –SiR'3 (R' is each independently a hydrocarbon group having 1-20 carbon atoms)).
