Abstract:

The present invention provides an oriented silicon steel, comprising a silicon steel substrate and an insulating coating formed on the surface of the silicon steel substrate. The insulating coating does not contain magnesium silicate and/or oxides of magnesium and aluminum. The oriented silicon steel has low iron loss, low magnetostriction, a high lamination coefficient, and high surface coating adhesion. The present invention further provides a method for manufacturing the oriented silicon steel. Compared with the prior art, in the method, laser treatment is performed on a silicon steel substrate according to appropriate parameters, an embedded layer and a continuous layer in the silicon steel substrate are removed, and the surface roughness of the silicon steel substrate is adjusted, so that oriented silicon steel having excellent comprehensive properties is obtained. The removing process in the method is precise and controllable, has little pollution, can be automated, and is easy to operate.
