Abstract:
The present invention provides an original plate for a lithographic printing plate, and a method for manufacturing a lithographic printing plate by using the original plate for a lithographic printing plate. The original plate for a lithographic printing plate has a support, a lower layer of an image recording layer, and an upper layer of the image recording layer in this order. The upper layer of the image recording layer contains a polymer A having a structural unit having an -SO2-NH- structure the pKa of which is less than 10. The lower layer of the image recording layer contains an infrared-ray absorbent and a polymer B having a structural unit having an acid group the pKa of which is less than 10. The content of the polymer B is 30 mass% or more with respect to the total mass of polymers contained in the lower layer of the image recording layer.
