Abstract:
An orthogonal acceleration type time-of-flight mass spectrometry device 1 comprising: a vacuum chamber 100 which is divided into a first vacuum chamber and a second vacuum chamber; an insulating spacer member 162 which is disposed across the both vacuum chambers; a preceding-stage ring electrode 1311 which is fixed to the first vacuum chamber side of the insulating spacer member; a subsequent-stage ring electrode 1312-1314 which is fixed to the second vacuum chamber side of the insulating spacer member; a first fixation member which positions the insulating spacer member to a predetermined position in the second vacuum chamber and which includes a first displacement member for displacing a central axis of the preceding-stage ring electrode and the subsequent-stage ring electrode in a predetermined direction orthogonal to the central axis by means of thermal expansion; and a second fixation member 170 which positions the subsequent-stage ring electrode with respect to the predetermined position and which includes a second displacement member for displacing the central axis in a predetermined direction orthogonal to the central axis by means of thermal expansion, wherein the difference in thermal expansion amount per unit temperature between the first displacement member and the second displacement member is 30% or less of the thermal expansion amount of the first displacement member.
