Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of antennas. Provided in the embodiments of the present invention are an orthomode transducer and a dual-linearly polarized feed source. The orthomode transducer comprises a first fundamental mode waveguide unit, a second fundamental mode waveguide unit, a common waveguide and a square-circular transition waveguide, the first fundamental mode waveguide unit comprising a first rectangular waveguide, a first T-shaped junction and two first bent symmetrical branches. Compared with the prior art, the embodiments of the present invention omit matching measures, and will realize signal transmission directly by means of the first T-type junction without the need of broadband matching measures, such as Chebyshev multi-section matching, thereby greatly reducing the size of an overall structure. Moreover, width gradient structures are used on the first bent symmetrical branches, so that smooth transition between the first bent symmetrical branches and the common waveguide is achieved, thus achieving smooth transition from the rectangular waveguide to the common waveguide, ensuring standing wave bandwidth, avoiding standing wave deterioration, and ensuring excellent standing wave bandwidth and isolation bandwidth properties.
