Abstract:
In this other vehicle action prediction method: a lane change possibility is calculated on the basis of a behavior of another vehicle 12 travelling in an adjacent lane G2, the lane change being the other vehicle 12 changing lanes from the adjacent lane G2 to a host vehicle lane G1; at least one of the lane change possibility and a threshold value is corrected on the basis of a lane width (32a, 32b) or the position of the other vehicle 12; and a determination is made as to whether the other vehicle 12 will change lanes by comparing the corrected lane change possibility and the pre-correction threshold value, or comparing the pre-correction lane change possibility and the corrected threshold value, or comparing the corrected lane change possibility and the corrected threshold value.
