Abstract:
An outdoor unit comprising: a casing constituting the outer frame of the outdoor unit; and a partition plate that demarcates a blower chamber for accommodating a heat exchanger and a blower, and a machine chamber for accommodating a compressor. The casing has a rear surface wall part in which is formed a suction opening through which air produced by driving of the blower is drawn in, and a front surface wall part in which is formed a discharge opening through which the air produced by driving of the blower is discharged. The partition plate is divided along the depth direction of the casing, and has a front-side partition plate disposed on the front-surface-wall-part side and a rear-side partition plate disposed on the rear-surface-wall-part side.
