Abstract:

Provided is an outdoor unit for an air conditioner that enables the existing power supply wiring to be appropriated when performing upgrade work. This outdoor unit is equipped with a chassis (2), a first power supply terminal block (4) that is affixed within the chassis (2) and is supplied with power, a second power supply terminal block (6), and a connecting cable (8) that connects the first power supply terminal block (4) and the second power supply terminal block (6). The second power supply terminal block (6) is affixed in a removable manner at any of multiple locations within the chassis (2), these locations being for the purpose of enabling power supplied from the outside to be received. The first power supply terminal block (4) receives the supplied power via the second power supply terminal block (6) and the connecting cable (8).
