Abstract:
The present invention provides an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, said outdoor unit suppressing flowing of a liquid into a machine chamber. The outdoor unit of the air conditioner is provided with: a housing that constitutes the contour of the outdoor unit; a partitioning plate, which is provided in the housing, and which partitions from each other an air blower chamber housing a heat exchanger and an air blower, and a machine chamber housing a compressor; an electric component box housing an electric component that controls the outdoor unit; a heat dissipating plate, which is provided on the side wall of the electric component box, and which cools the electric component; a duct, which covers the heat dissipating plate by being attached to the side wall of the electric component box, forms an air duct that communicates the air blower chamber and the machine chamber with each other, and has a drainage opening that is formed in a bottom wall section in the machine chamber; a water receiving section, which is provided below the duct by being extended between the machine chamber and the air blower chamber, is inclined downward from the machine chamber to the air blower chamber, and drains, to the air blower chamber, a liquid dropped from the opening; and a blocking plate, which protrudes downward from the bottom wall section, and blocks a part of the air duct formed between the bottom wall section and the water receiving section.
