Abstract:
Provided is an outdoor unit for a refrigeration cycle device with which drainage water generated by a defrosting operation can be discharged reliably by using a flexible heater having an inferior heat generation capacity per unit area than a conventional sheath heater. This outdoor unit (1) for a refrigeration cycle device comprises: a base plate (21) having water discharge openings (43); and a flexible linear heater (46) having doubled sections (45) that are laid out in a doubled manner at all or a portion of the periphery of the water discharge openings (43).
